Amazon Web Services Outage Impacting Cayuse Applications

December 7, 2021

Announcement: Please be aware that Amazon Web Services suffered a major outage this morning. As a result, some federal web applications, including eRA Commons, have been affected. So far, DCG has not received any reports of affected Cayuse 424 submissions, but please be advised that users may experience 504 errors when trying to login, navigate, and download funding opportunities from within the application. Please continue to work on your proposal submissions and if you experience any errors, please alert your DCG Officer.

There is no current ETA for full recovery at this time, however, Amazon has identified the root cause of the outage and is actively working towards a fix. A secondary Newsflash will be provided to the campus community as soon as the outage is resolved.
