Dear Colleagues,
Three new policies have been published relating to research conducted at USC:
This policy ensures that all USC research is conducted ethically and in full compliance with institutional and regulatory standards by requiring faculty, staff, students, and affiliated personnel to follow the USC Guide to Research.
This policy requires USC employees to accurately propose, charge, and certify effort on sponsored projects to ensure salary charges reflect actual work and comply with federal requirements. Sponsored Research Cost Transfers
This policy establishes when cost transfers on sponsored projects are allowable, requiring that any reallocation be timely, justified, and compliant with federal and institutional standards.
