Welcome back to MicroLearning Mondays, our biweekly series of bite-sized research administration trainings brought to you by the Department of Contracts and Grants.
This week’s topic: When is Cayuse Sponsored Projects Required?
Why It Matters:
Cayuse Sponsored Projects (SP) is USC’s official system for routing, approving, and tracking sponsored project proposals and awards. Understanding when Cayuse SP is required ensures proper compliance, timely proposal submission, and accurate award setup. Failure to use Cayuse SP when required may result in delays, noncompliance, or missed institutional approvals.
In This Video, You’ll Learn:
- What Cayuse Sponsored Projects (SP) is and why USC uses it.
- When Cayuse SP is required for sponsored project proposals and awards.
- When Cayuse SP is not required.
- How to correctly use Cayuse SP at both the proposal and award stages.
