New Version of diSClose Released

June 29, 2023

Announcement: A new version of diSClose is now live and can be accessed on the usual website: https://disclose.usc.edu/.

The new system is similar to the previous system with several notable enhancements including the ability to update a disclosure while it is under review. Instructions on how to use the new system, as well as details on disclosure data migrated from the previous system, are below for your reference.

Using the New diSClose

The layout of the new system is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. The “New/Update Disclosure” function allows you to add new entities to your disclosure or update any entities previously disclosed. Step-by-step instructions with screenshots for submitting a disclosure can be found here: https://ooc.usc.edu/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/diSClose-Instructions-2023.06.23.pdf

Updating Migrated Disclosures

Any active disclosures have been migrated to the new system with the exceptions noted below. To view your previously disclosed entities, use the “New/Update Disclosure” function and navigate to the “Entity Disclosure Information” page by using the “Continue” function or the menu on the left-hand side. Use the “X” function on the right next to the name of the entity to remove any entities that are no longer active. After you have navigated to the “Entity Disclosure Information” page, update any previously disclosed entities using the “Update” function on the left next to the name of the entity. You will need to answer several new questions as well as review your previously provided data to ensure that it is still accurate before submitting your updated disclosure.

Please be aware that travel data and any attached documentation such as consulting contracts have not been migrated to the new system. Placeholder documents have been added to allow you to submit your disclosure without uploading previously reviewed documents. If your current contract is still active, no update is needed. Any new contracts or contracts that have not been previously reviewed need to be uploaded.

Legacy diSClose Access

If you need access to your legacy disclosures in the previous system for any reason, read only access is available here: https://disclose-legacy.usc.edu
