Announcement: As July 1st approaches, the Department of Contracts and Grants is excited to announce the release of our first training video introducing Cayuse Sponsored Projects (SP). Cayuse SP is a cloud-based application that will replace Kuali Coeus (KC) as the University-wide grants management pre-award and non-financial post-award system. Cayuse SP will integrate with several USC compliance software platforms as well as Workday, allowing for a more streamlined and efficient connection between systems.
Cayuse SP offers a broad array of benefits for proposal preparers and approvers, including:

- Modern Look and Feel
To prepare USC research faculty and staff for the transition, DCG will be offering a series of video trainings on the ins and outs of Cayuse SP, the first of which can be found below. These videos will be accompanied by an online set of customized guides that aim to walk users through creating and approving proposal records, proposal routing workflows, user roles, system enhancements, and regulatory system integrations.
