Reminder: The Negotiation Module in Kuali Coeus (KC) serves as a valuable reference tool for Principal Investigators and Research Administrators to view the status of ongoing award negotiations within KC. Negotiations provides a real-time view of the negotiation activities for a specific proposal, award or agreement. Your DCG Officer reflects all ongoing negotiation activities by updating and finalizing a specific negotiation from the time a negotiation begins through agreement execution.
Below is a reminder on how to access a Negotiation:
- Log into Kuali Coeus
- Click the “Unit” Tab
- Click “Search Negotiation”
- Enter the First and Last Name of the Principal Investigator (Ex. “Mark Smith”)
Open the specific entry you are looking for and review the negotiation activities (and associated attachments). The activities and attachments are preserved as historical reference information see below) even after the award has been finalized and setup in KC.
