Good morning,
We kindly request your assistance in promoting the recurring biannual deadlines for the Research Catalyst Program (RCP): February 16 and September 14 (new deadline date). Please note that the submission deadline is 12:00 p.m. (noon), not 5:00 p.m.
We are also pleased to announce that the Ming Hsieh Translation Award has been incorporated into the RCP. The Ming Hsieh Translation Award will have one annual deadline, which is September 14 at noon.
Submission Limit: Faculty may submit one proposal as PI per Topic Area, but may participate as co-PI or collaborator on multiple proposals for each award deadline date.
Carryover Review:
- RCP proposals not funded in November 2025 will remain under consideration in February 2026.
- Ming Hsieh Translation Award proposals do not carry over and will only be considered for the September 2026 deadline.
Submitting a New Proposal:
- Faculty who submitted a proposal in November, 2025, and who wish to submit a different proposal in February to the same Topic Area must first request removal of the prior application by contacting researchsupport@usc.edu.
