The National Science Foundation Office of the Chief of Research Security Strategy and Policy (OCRSSP) has released an Important Notice to Awardee Organizations announcing several new and updated research security requirements.
Key updates include:
- Revised Timelines for Foreign Financial Disclosures – Now in effect
- Annual Certification Requirement on Prohibition of Participation in Malign Foreign Talent Recruitment Programs (MFTRPs) – Now in effect
- Mandatory Research Security Training – Effective October 10, 2025
- Prohibition on Hosting Confucius Institutes – Effective October 10, 2025
